Weekend Update

Hi!

Considering that its Friday afternoon I figured that I should tell you all about last weekend. We really thought that Zoe was on the mend and that she was safe to go out in public without four changes of clothes in tow, ah the bliss of naive parenting:)

On Friday night we went to Relay for Life and spent some time with the Taylor crew. It was a lot of fun, Zoe loves to people watch and play outside so it was perfect for her! She even got to stay up until 8:30!

The late bed time didn't slow her down Zoe was up before six on Saturday morning. She doesn't want to miss a thing! We went to a baby shower for baby Cohen, man is he cute! Zoe of course had an accident, guess we weren't in the clear for going out with out several changes of clothes:)

Saturday night we went out to eat, did some shopping and went for ice cream, as a family. It was a lot of fun, I think even Zoe had a great time in the fishing section of Scheel's looking for a birthday present for uncle Dan!

Sunday we headed down to Vinton to celebrate Uncle Dan's birthday as well as Great Grandma Donna's. It was nice to see so many of the Sutton side. We had a great lunch and a great visit with Uncle Dan, Ally, and Mimi and Grandpa LaGrange. By Sunday night we were pooped and Dada had started working on the lawn so we had to supervise. Over this week we (as in Jake) have changed a pile of dirt into a beautiful, lush lawn that needs a lot of water:)

This weekend is Sturgis Falls, the annual town celebration for Cedar Falls. It should be a lot of fun! Look for details soon!

Take care,

Sarah, Jake, Zoe and Alyce
