Our weekend

We had an eventful weekend!! Friday night the always adventurous Zoey fell off of a lawn chair and face planted on a neighbors drive way, an hour and a half later, one trip to the ER and five stitches later we were back home and getting ready for bed. Zoe took the stitches like a trooper, she didn't like the bright light or all the people over her but all and all she did a great job. The stitches will be taken out on Wednesday. They did a pretty good job on the stitches so hopefully she won't have a scar. They don't seem to bother her. We have been giving her Tylenol just so that she isn't in any pain, but she is doing great!!

Saturday we just hung around the house, we needed a day to recover from all the drama Friday night.

Today we went to Des Moines and went to the Blank Park Zoo. We had a great time, saw all the animals and even rode the train. I asked Zoe tonight what her favorite part was and she said the duck, Jake heard that and laughed we have ducks in our back yard that she looks at all the time. I also think she liked the monkeys. They had a small petting zoo where you could feed the animals and Zoe didn't like that all. We also did some shopping while we were in Des Moines. Zoe did great on both the car ride to and from, she likes to play peek a boo in the car, by putting her blanket over her head. One time I must have taken to long to find her since she feel asleep like that!!

All is all, we had a great weekend, other then a trup to the ER but when you have a kid like Zoe, I think a couple of those are bound to happen, lets just hope no time again soon.
