Perfect summer day..

We had a great weekend that included a fun trip to Mimi and Grandpa's dinner with great friends on Friday night and dinner on Saturday night with Grandpa John. We also had a wonderful Sunday. It started out by sleeping in until almost 8, very late for Zoe and then a quick breakfast with Diego and then we went to church and then went to Toys R Us to look for Birthday present for Zoe, of course she wants the Barbie convertible car, not really in our budget.. After all of the fun it was time for some lunch and then to the pool, where we played for about an hour and a half. We headed back home with one tired bug. Later on this afternoon Zoe's friend Ella asked her to go to the pool again, so we did.. thats right two trips to the pool in one day, that one of the things that makes it a perfect summer day.

After the second trip to the pool we came home and ate dinner on the deck,which included watermelon smiles, another key element to the perfect summer day.. Zoe loves them:) We then went and played at a neighbors and finished the night off with corn on the cob, the only way to end the perfect summer day!!

After all of that fun, it was time to head home a quick bath and to bed.. We had a wonderful weekend!! Take care!!
