Tonight I was asking Zoe to pick up a mess she had made with items from the pantry. It was very obvious that she really didn't want to do it, just when I thought she was going to have a melt down tantrum, she looked at me and said "I love Daddy". I almost feel down in shock and then in laughter, instead I said "good, so do I, now we need to pick up this mess." You could see the look of defeat wash over her face but she did start to help and in the end picked up the mess almost entirely by herself.
I know, that is only the beginning of those types of comments, but really I just wasn't prepared.
We are having a great week and enjoying the nice weather, we have played outside the last two nights, heaven help us on the next night we can't go outside, I don't think it will go over all that well.
We did finally get snow pants, hat, gloves and a new winter coat; since Alyce ate the last winter coat. I am just fine with all of them hanging in the closet for as long as possible!
