Today the sun was shinning and the weather wasn't to bad, so we decided to go and get our Christmas tree. The house is all decorated for Christmas now, since Zoe was sick one day this week and took a 3 and a half hour nap, that gave me plenty of time to decorate for Christmas, all we were missing was the tree.
So we bundled up and headed out. Zoe had a great time!! Any time we would suggest a tree, she would say no, really I think she just liked looking around and saying "how about this one?" When we finally did cut one down I was telling her that it would go in our house in the living room and she looked at me and said "NO WAY!!" I think she will be pretty excited when it goes up tomorrow!!
We also had another run in with Santa and again, no dice, although this Santa did have candy canes so she ventured close enough to get one of those.
Tonight Zoe and mom had a girls night out, went shopping at Target where Zoe got to pick what we looked at the entire time. After about an hour and half in the toy section I did have make the executive decision to start heading to the front of the store, as you can imagine that didn't go over all that well!
We are having a great weekend, and heard today at the tree farm we are supposed to get 14 inches of snow on Tuesday and Wednesday, that would be a lot of snow!!
