I need to document for our sake that today Zoey went poop in the potty three times. That is a huge deal!! She has been potty trained for almost six months but was still wearing a diaper at nap and bed time and would save all of her poop for the convenient times of wearing a diaper. She would really like to go to a summer daycare program with all of her friends but the only way she can do that is if she doesn't wear a diaper at nap.. she has been doing that for a week now, but has had two accidents. This weekend, it was rough, and we spend a fair amount of time in the bathroom, but in the end she did great!!! We are so proud of her!!
Okay enough of that. We had a great weekend. Celebrated a birthday with one of Zoe's great friends, Ella Paul on Friday night. Saturday we hung out around the house and then in the evening we went out to eat and went to the circus. Zoe loved the circus, and now we can say that she has been:)
Today was a great day. Went to Mimi and Grandpa's got to see Papa John, and Dan and Henry. And had a wonderful evening at home. What a great weekend!!
This week Zoey, asked me to no longer call her Lu Lu. Which is a nickname a gave her when she was about 6 months old. She told me her name was Zoey and would like to be called Zoe or Z. I am trying to do it, but its hard and its a little sad. Lu Lu was her baby nickname and now she doesn't want to be called that either. She is growing up so fast. I know she will change so much this summer when she starts at the summer program. I am so proud of the little girl she is becoming.
