Today we went and visited Papa John, he had a stroke on Wednesday but has had a amazing recovery so far and we know with his strength, the power of faith and modern medicine he will make a full recovery. It was so great to see him today and of course Zoe had to take him an Elmo balloon:)
After we visited Papa John, we stopped to see Mimi and Grandpa. Grandpa had a lot of strawberries this spring so we helped him make some jam. The jam is WONDERFUL. Zoe loved hleping, she got to play in the water, mash up the strawberries and then taste it. She loved it. It was a messy process, so half way through we had to take off her shirt, even though it was already filthy.
This evening we played at home, took a nice walk and Zoe walked Alyce and did a great job, and went and got ice cream!
We had a roller coaster of a week, but continue to be amazed by all the blessings we have.
