First Birthday Present

Dan and Ali sent Z her birthday present on Wednesday and how can you not let an almost four year old not open a birthday present?? In this house, its pretty much impossible so she ripped into it with Dan on Skype to cheer her on. Guess what it was?? A Leapster!!! Ali and Dan are pretty stinking good shoppers because ever since Z opened it we haven't seen her around the house without it in her hands.

She has been fighting the same stomach bug that Jake and Charlee had last week but she didn't throw up at all today and even got to go to the last day of summer shamrocks and take her birthday treat. She did end up coming home early because she was tired and wanted to rest but they got to sing her happy birthday and she got to say good bye to all of the summer teachers. She really enjoyed the summer program but is excited for dance camp next week and the I can't believe I am saying this but school start the week after that.. crazy!!!!

Okay we have a busy birthday weekend on slate so see you all on Sunday night or if I am to tired.. maybe Monday morning;)
