Christmas is coming

And we have a tree for it!! We went on Friday and cut down our Christmas tree.. we picked out a great one and cut it down and put it on the top of the car and brought it home. By the time we were home, it was time to decorate the tree for christmas.. during the day we had decorated the house and now it was time for the tree.

We put the lights on and then found all of the wonderful ornaments that all have special stories behind them.. Its so fun to put those on the tree, and talk about the stories that are behind each one.

Then after the tree was decorated it was time to head to downtown Cedar Falls for Holiday Hoopla and Santa came to town as well.. In a helicopter!! It was very fun!! We got to watch Santa then we all walked down main street to light the big tree and watch the fireworks. After the fireworks we walked back and looked at Santa's workshop. It was a wonderful evening.
