Weekend with Mimi and Grandpa

Zoe had a great weekend.. she got to spend most of it with mimi and Grandpa so in her world it can't get much better!!

Friday afternoon Mimi picked her up from pre school so that was a big deal. Friday evening she headed to Vinton with Mimi and Charlee!!

Saturday morning she claims that Grandpa woke her up about 5:30, I think the story Grandpa would tell would be slightly different! They spent the morning at the pancake breakfast in Vinton.. Zoe has never meet a pancake she didn't like!!

Saturday afternoon they worked on some crafts, played Old Maid and Go Fish and then went bowling!! Zoe got a 29, not to bad for no bumpers!!

Saturday evening Zoe and Grandpa went ROLLER SKATING!! Zoe thought it was lots of fun and only fell down three times!! She even got a mask!! She had a great time!! For the record Grandpa didn't fall down at all!

Sunday her and Grandpa were up and at them again early! They were busy, they had to make a birthday pie for Mom and Mimi and decorate for the birthday party for Mom and Mimi! They did a great job.. banners, streamers from the ceiling fan and balloon's!  It was a great party, where Z made me a beautiful frame with a hear and her and Charlee's name and then a bouquet of beautiful fake flowers. She also got Mimi a cute card with googly eye's on it that just said "wowza" so cute!!

We headed home Sunday afternoon. Of course from Grandpa waking her up early both day's Zoe was tired so she took a quick nap before heading out to pick up the cake and all of the ingredients to make me a wonderful birthday dinner!! We had homemade Mac and Cheese and then happy birthday with the cha cha cha's and all!! We had a great weekend!
