Washington Trip

Zoey was bound and determined to make this vacation a beach vacation. She just didn't understand why the ocean could be so close but she couldn't play in it. So the one day the sun did shine we headed down to the beach so she could play. She had a pretty good time even thought the water was so cold. When we asked her if she had a good vacation she told me she loved it but the next vacation she went on needed to have more swimsuits!

Mom, Zoey, Char and Mimi on the back side of the whale boat we went out on. We saw a TON of whales, dolphins and Harbor Seals!! The boat was very nice! Zoe and Char also got stuffed dolphins which they are still loving on!

Seattle Childrens museum. There was so much to look at and do. They had a great display on butterfly's and another one on the human body. This display was everyday objects on a very large scale. It was a neat day! We also went up to the top of the space needle and of course Z kept freaking me out because she has no fear and was looking WAY over the edge!

The whale boat was pretty cold and damp.. so Z and Grandpa made sure to have hoods up. Of course Z got a new coat of the deal from REI in Seattle.

This is the sunset from Washington state park at the edge of Anacortes. It was a beautiful park with huge tree's and beautiful views.

We had a great trip. Z had so much fun seeing Dan and Aly and of course also Henry!!

Vacations never last long enough!
