Christmas

On Christmas eve day we had a little bit of cooking to do to get ready for Christmas and Z was more then happy to help. She is getting so good at helping in the kitchen and this time was no different.. I had 12 eggs to crack for an egg dish for Christmas morning dish and she made short work of that..

We went had Papa and Mary,  Mimi and Grandpa come up for Christmas eve and then everyone but Mom and Charlee (because Charlee was sick) went to Christmas Eve service. Since Z is now in elementary school she gets to go to the service during these big events and she did a great job.

Then everyone came home and we had dinner.. during dinner Z noticed two new presents under the tree and quickly was asking all sorts of questions about them.. these were special present that Santa had given to mom for the girls to open on Christmas eve and we let them do just that..They were special Christmas jams.. the girls quickly put them on listened to Papa John read the night before Christmas and get the cookies milk and carrots all ready for Santa and hopped into bed.. ready for him to come over night!!

And boy did Santa show up.. Z woke up about 7 AM on christmas morning and was so excited that Santa had ate the cookie, and drank the milk and the reindeer had even had the carrots and the presents.. oh boy the presents!!

We started with stockings where Z got the ear muffs she had been asking for and new tights.

Then we moved to the presents and Z got a new two wheel scooter, a new robe and slippers and many  many many other presents!! She had a great time opening presents and even had presents to give that she had worked on at Blessed Beginnings.

We also spent plenty of time playing Trouble, and barbies in the new Barbie beach house that she got.

notice the scooter parking.. she rode this in between opening presents!

after all the presents had been opened talking on Skype!

The special note and treat we left just for Santa and notice the pink Christmas tree.. Z thought that the table needed to look extra special for Santa!

Oh My Gosh.. its a two wheel scooter!

Lets get this started.. ripping into her stocking!
Later in the afternoon, we headed to Vinton to visit great Grand parents and then did a little night sledding at Mimi and Grandpa's it was a wonderful day!
