Finally!!!

The weather this spring has been touch and go but any and all nice days the first question out of Z's mouth has been.. "can we run through the sprinkler tonight?"

Yesterday again, the weather was touch and go but on the good side, it was almost 100, I had set a rule that the temperature needed to be at least 80 to even consider the sprinkler, well Z heard through the grapevine that it was going to be well over 80 so she was EXCITED to say the least.

I cut out of work a couple of minutes early and rushed to pick up Z and Char, don't tell Z but I was almost as excited as her to watch them run and jump in the water and have a great time. We had limited time since we also had gymnastics but I wasn't going to let that stop us from enjoying the first hot day.

Of course the minute I picked up Z she asked "can we run through the sprinkler" and she was floored when I said yes. The three of us hurried home and immediately went and got swimsuits on. I got the sprinkler set up and was excited to watch them play on the slide turned "waterslide" and run through the sprinkler. HA HA Mom, the joke was on me.. the girls thought it was still to cold to run through the sprinkler and the sprinkler was promptly shut off. To the girls defense it was VERY windy last night, so maybe that is what made it so cold..
