Turning 6!!!!

Turning 6 is a big deal and if you ask Z she will tell you its a real real big big deal:) So of course we lived it up and had a great time!

We started the birthday week out (that's right we celebrated for a week, we told you it was a big deal) with a surprise road trip. The surprise was getting to see Aunt Kati and Nick at a lake house in Minnesota and play in the water all day.. It was a wonderful day spent with family we don't get to see often enough.

Then came the planning and preparation for the big party!! Z decided to have a Taylor Swift party and the girls had a great time. We made a little red carpet for them to walk on back to the back yard, and we took photo's of all of them as they arrived at the party. We then had little ceasers cheese pizza, a request of Zoey's. Then came the fun!! Our neighbor and Z's friend Chandler have an inflatable waterslide, so they set that up in the back yard and we had the jump house and the tramp and the sprinkler on. The girls had a great time playing.

After sometime playing we decided to an arts and crafts project, the girls got to marker and glitter guitars and the girls had a great time!! We then did cake and opened presents. Then the girls did some preforming and they had a great time. The party was suppossed to end at 3 but I don't think the last guest left until almost 4:30, it was a great time and a great celebration of the little lady we all love!

Tuesday was her actually birthday and she started the day out with opening presents. She had already gotten a bike, but charlee got her a lava lamp and Jake got her a helmet for her upcoming riding lessons.

For breakfast we had cinnamon rolls and then had a nice slow morning, it was wonderful!

We then headed to the mall and target for some back to school shopping. We got everything neon and everything sparkly. It was so much fun to spend some time with her and just enjoy the beautiful little lady she has grown to be!

The afternoon was beautiful so we decided to take advantage and headed to the pool to do some swimming. She is such a little fish and her diving is getting so good! Also some of her day care friends were at the pool, so it was fun to watch them all interact.

In the evening we headed to Vinton to the Pizza Ranch (Z's favorite restraunt in Vinton) we again celebrated Miss Z with Mimi, Grandpa, papa, Bob and Jane and Dale and Donna. It was a wonderful little party and such a great way to wrap up a very fun day!

I can't believe the Z is six, as she told me the night of her birthday as we drove home from Vinton... you know Mom six takes two hands, and she is so right six does take two hands and I plan to use both of those hands to hold on to her tight.. time goes to fast!
