Well, today was the big day, the two week appointment at the Doctor and of course Zoey slept through the entire appointment in true Zoey form.
She now weighs 8 pounds which is close to her birth weigh but we have a little ways to go so we will go back next week and hope that she has gained a good 4 or 5 ounces. She was also measured and has gotten longer since birth. The doctor answered all of our silly questions and gave Zoey a good once over. She passed with flying colors.
Tonight Mom had a chance to get out of the house and hang out with some girl friends for awhile, it was wonderful, but of course I missed Zoey and Jake!! Jake did a great job, he is a wonderful father!!!
Well, speaking of the wonderful father he is upstairs teaching Zoey how to play poker:) I had better get up there, or before you know they will both be able to beat me at cards:)
