Grandma Mary and Papa John came up and Zoe and Mary got busy decorating cookies.. they had a great time, Zoey was in charge of the sprinkles and she did a great job.
We headed to church, it was a great church service where god spoke and helped to remind everyone what the real meaning of the season is and then Zoey helped to remind us all because all she wanted to talk about was Baby Jesus's birthday party she had while we were at church.. so sweet!!
We came home, ate dinner, Zoey got to open one christmas present with the deal that if she did she couldn't get out of bed until the sun came up on Christmas Morning (zoe is an early riser and we were worried about what time her excitement would stir her) hung out for awhile and then papa john read us "The Night Before Christmas" and off to bed, zoey was very very tired.. for dreams of sugar plums!
The next morning we had to wake Zoe up about 7... the minute she woke up.. she wanted to know... did he come, did he come and she ran out to check her stocking and see under the tree. We spent the next two hours opening christmas presents which for Zoe included Barbie Princess Charm School stuff and tappy dress shoes, mobigo, to many other things to name. She had a great time!!
Around lunch time mimi and Grandpa came up and we played with the giant ball and every other christmas present she got.
That evening we headed to a friends house where Zoe was busy playing with all of his new toys and they had a great time. They had so much fun that Zoe fell asleep on the couch and we carried her home.. now that is a great finish to christmas!!
