We had a great weekend! It started Friday night with a fun baby shower for the latest addition to the crew "Mr. Finnegan"! It was a lot of fun and Zoe even held Finn!! So fun!
Saturday morning we headed to Shellsburg to golf in Rounds for Royce. It was a very fun day but Zoey isn't that much of a golfer so she was busy helping Mimi! Everyone had a great time!
Sunday was Mothers day and it was perfect. I woke up to beautiful drawn pictures from both of my girls, Zoe had made me a hand flower in school and so many hugs and kisses.. it was amazing!
We went to brunch as a family and Mimi and Grandpa even joined us! At brunch Zoe's friend Foster was also at the restaurant. It was fun to watch them interact! And Zoe thought it was pretty fun to see Foster not in school.
After brunch me and Zoe went and picked out flowers and then went home and got busy planting them.. of course during the planting Zoe took several breaks to run through the sprinkler, play with friends and take a bubble bath.. it was a great early summer afternoon spent with friend and family and playing out side, it was perfect!!!
On Sunday night Austin, Colton, Amy and Brian came over and had dinner. Of course the kids ran through the sprinkler again and then played outside. They had a great time.. rolling down the hill, riding bikes and looking for caterpillars to turn into pets.
Needless to say with a wonderful weekend like we had it was pretty hard to jump into Monday morning:)
