It was a nice Holiday weekend for the Austins. As I "slaved" away at work, the girls played at home learning new things about themselves everyday. Alyce learned that she is no longer the center of attention. Sarah learned that Zoey hates tummy time; and Zoey learned that she is the center off attention taking Alyce's spot.
The weekend was actually very relaxing. Saturday night I went to the movie Halloween with Adam, needless to say Sarah stayed home. Sunday, Grandma Diane came to the house and played with Zoey all day long; giving Sarah a much needed break. Monday we all went to LaGranges where Jake and Mike went fishing, and Zoey played with her great grand parents. Zoey has been more alert everyday, learning a new facial feature almost the the minute. Its amazing to see her grow; she was for weeks old yesterday. Sarah and I started giving her a bottle of milk at night and moved it up to 3 ounces. We are in a definite routine eating, sleeping and playing about the same time everyday.
As for today, it's bath day. I bought a new grill yesterday and will spend this morning putting the final touches on it. Zoey and Sarah were singing "Jingle Bells" and shouting "Merry Christmas" when I got home; I guess I know what I got for Christmas. Hopefully this week we will get our pictures I am very anxious to see them.
Well hope to hear from all of you soon,
Jake, Sarah, Zoey and Alyce
